A short kickoff call to set format, episode length, naming and the loudness target your platform expects.
We set up the session and capture every guest on a separate, lossless track — local recordings, not a single compressed call file.
Multitrack cut: filler words, false starts, long pauses and crosstalk gone. Pacing tightened without making anyone sound robotic.
Level matching, EQ, de-noise and de-ess across speakers, plus music beds and ad spots dropped to the right depth.
Final loudness to −16 LUFS for stereo podcasts, true-peak checked, so it sits consistently across Apple, Spotify and the rest.
Show notes, timestamped chapters, a title pass and two short audiograms — delivered ready to upload.
Billed by the episode or the season
Prices below assume a standard interview or solo episode up to 60 minutes of finished audio. Longer formats and narrative work are quoted on the brief.

How do you record remotely?
We host the session and capture each guest locally in lossless quality, then pull the separate tracks afterward. No single muddy call file — every voice is editable on its own.
What turnaround should I expect?
Most standard episodes come back within five business days of receiving the raw audio. Retainer shows often run faster once we've set up your templates.
Per episode or per season?
Both. Occasional drops work per episode; weekly or fortnightly shows usually settle into the monthly retainer; limited runs go on the season package.
Do you write the show notes?
Yes — a summary, timestamped chapters and a title pass come with every episode. You approve the wording before it ships.
What if the audio comes in rough?
Room echo, fan hum, uneven levels and the odd dropped phone connection are routine. We'll tell you upfront what's salvageable and what's worth a re-record.
Who actually does the mixing?
Every episode is mixed here in the Hayward room by the same engineer who took your kickoff call — not handed off to a rotating pool of freelancers.
169 Austin Ave, Hayward
Soundclave is a single-room shop on Austin Ave. We don't chase volume — we keep a short client list so every show gets the same pair of monitors, the same engineer, and a finish that actually sounds like a finished show.
Treated walls, isolated tracks, and monitors we trust. Bring a finished recording or book the room — either way it leaves sounding like the people in it meant business.
A few lines is plenty: what the podcast is, roughly how often it drops, and how rough or clean the audio comes in. We'll come back with a per-episode or per-season number — usually the same day during studio hours.
